Members Update

To All Members

It is our main focus, in these difficult times, and with your continued support, to keep our fantastic team in jobs and ensure that we have a better club for our loyal members to return to.

Following recent government announcements, with the offer of potential relief and support available, it gives us reassurance that we can continue to cover our overheads during this period and be there for our valued members when we are through this crisis.

Therefore, we the committee, would like to guarantee that you, our members, will not be financially worse off.

We can assure you that any payments received by the club, during this shutdown period, will be available for refund with the following choices:-

Monthly Payments

From April 1st, all monthly payments will be credited back to members after 3 months. Please email the club sonya@granthamsquash.co.uk with your choice from one of three options:-

1) Money back in full after 3 months.

2) Money back less £2 per month (£1 of which will be donated to Grantham Hospital) the remaining £1 to help cover club costs. This will be the club default where we do not hear back with your choice.

3) Advise the club of your intention to cancel, if this is your desired choice.

Annual Payments.

These cannot be addressed until we have a date when trading will resume, but with the reassurance that your payment will be adjusted for the coming year 2020/2021.

We hope this proposal will be acceptable to all members.

With you, continuing your loyal support, this will help finance our scheduled refurbishment program (changing rooms) and the purchase of new hi-tech gym equipment. Hopefully, all completed, immediately prior to reopening or very soon after.

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and review on a regular basis, informing members of any changes, if and where necessary.

If you need further confirmation on any of the above points please contact: -sonya@granthamsquash.co.uk who will endeavour to assist further.

Finally, please listen to the government’s health advice, respect social distancing, take care, stay safe and together we will come through this crisis, sooner rather than later.

Thank you.

John Baldwin
Chairman on behalf of your Committee.
